This lightning photo is titled "Afterglow" and was taken at Brookton, which is located about 150km south east of Perth, Western Australia.

The lightning strike was photographed with a 15mm wide angle lens and the length of exposure for this lightning photograph was about 5 seconds.

This is the leading edge of the outflow from a severve thundersquall which came right over the top of me and winds were around 50 knots. As I was photographing this storm, there were lightning bolts erupting between the rainbow but I just managed a couple of frames before the heavens opened up and unfortunately, the length of exposure was too short to capture any lightning strikes.

From the safety of the car, I then shot "Inside Looking Out" through the windscreen, also with the 15mm wide angle lens.
