For the technically minded, the Fotografica Lightning Collection is a series of 800 x 600 mm 8 colour fine art Lithographic poster prints, reproduced to the very highest standard.

Specifications are as follows :

SCANNED: on a Linotype-Hell drum scanner at 175 and 200 line screen.

PRINTED: on MAN Roland 5 colour and Heidelberg 6 colour offset printing presses.

PRINT SPECIFICATIONS:

• 4 Process Colours,
• 1 Special 5th black on the borders,
• 1 Spot trap gloss varnish on the image,
• 1 Spot trap mat varnish on the border, and
• 1 PMS metallic silver for the art work and typographics which is reversed out of the mat varnish.

PAPER STOCK: that the lithographic posters where printed on was 250 gsm Magno Star Gloss totally chlorine free (TCF) environmently friendly paper stock.
